M.G.R’s elder brother M.G.Chakrapani’s brother-in-law thiru late K.N.Kunjappan’s wife smt Parvathi Kunjappan passed away on Jan 02 2011.
Thiru late K.N.Kunjappan was in charge of Em.Gee.Yaar Pictures and was also in Nadaga Mandram group started by Makkal Thilagam M.G.R and Periyavar M.G.Chakrapani.Later he produced two films Vayasu Ponnu –1978 [Click Here] in the banner of RGM Productions and Porkalam-1980 [Click Here] in the banner of Kasturi Enterprises.In Porkalam Periyavar M.G.Chakrapani’s son M.G.C.Sukumar had acted in the movie.
Before the two movies produced ,Mr.K.N.Kunjappan in partnership with two other persons started to produce with Makkal Thilagam M.G.R.After the success of Nadodi Manan, Makkal Thilagam M.G.R planned a sequel of the movie and named it Nadodiyin Magan.And they produced under the banner of Kadiravan Pictures .
Thiru late K.N.Kunjappan passed away on 22 Aug 1984 and the couple had four sons and one daughter Mr.Rajendren,Mr.Gopalakrishnan,Mr.Manuazhagan,Mr.Ramachandran and Mrs Geetha Vijayakumar.Mrs Geetha Vijayakumar got married to Periyavar M.G.Chakrapani’s last son M.G.C.Vijayakumar.
Paravathi Kunjappan was 79 yrs of a age and she suddenly passed away yesterday night at 10.00pm.All her family,relatives,friends,and M.G.Chakrapani’s family was also present there.
The family will always miss her.
