         M.G.R’s elder brother M.G.Chakrapani’s daughter Satyabhama Rajan Passes Away

Smt Satyabhama Rajan was the eldest child of Sri M.G.Chakrapani and she was named after his mother Smt Sathyabhama.As it was the name of the mother she was fondly called Mani.She was married to Mr. Rajan who worked for the indian Railways in Mumbai  and the couple had two daughters Sumathi and Geetha and a son Sunder Rajan.M.G.R was very fond of Smt Sathyabhama,and M.G.R tried to start a production company in her name though his mother’s name was also the same.His wish was fulfilled ,production company was SATHYARAJA FILMS directed by M.G.Chakrapani,MGR was the hero ,produced by M.C.Ramamurthy Son Of M.G.Chakrapani,Film Name was Arasakatalai.The family had settled in Mumbai even after the demise of her husband Mr.Rajan  and Smt Satyabhama continued to live with her children.She was 75 years of age and was quite healthy.She suddenly passed away in her sleep late last night.The family will always miss her.

M.G.R’s Unreleased Movie “Paramapitha”

ஜி.என்.வேலுமணி எம்.ஜி.ஆர் அவர்களை  வைத்து பரமபிதா எடுக்க ஆரம்பித்தார்.

அது ஒரு திருத்தந்தையின் கதை ,அக்கதையமைப்பை கேட்டபின்,ஒரு திருத்தந்தைக்குரிய சட்டங்கள் ,சம்பிரதாயங்கள்  தெரிந்த பின் நடிக்க  விரும்பினார் எம்.ஜி.ஆர் அவர்கள்.எழுத்தாளர்  கே .ரவீந்தர்னிடம் அதை பற்றி தெரிந்த வரச்சொனார்

அப்புனித வாழ்வை  பற்றி முழுமையாக தெரிந்த சொல்ல திருத்தந்தை அருளப்பா அவர்களிடம் பொய் கேட்கசொனார்.

அவர்கள் மகிழந்து "நான் எம்.ஜி.ஆர் அவர்களை பார்க்க வேண்டும்.அவர் "பரமபிதா"வில் நடிக்கபோகும் விளம்பரம் பார்த்தேன்.அந்த வேடத்திற்கு பொருத்தமாகவும் அருள் நிறைந்த முத்த தோற்றத்தில் மற்றவர் மதிக்கும்படியாகவும் இருந்தது " என்ச்  சொல்லி புத்தகம் ஒன்றையும் கொடுத்து அனுப்பினார்.

கதையில் வரும் பாதிரியாருக்கு ஏற்கனவே ஒரு காதலி உண்டு .இவர் மாதா கோவில்க்கு திருத்தந்தையாக வந்தபின் அவள் வருகிறாள் .இவருக்கு மனச்   சலனம் ஏற்றபடுகிறது.அடக்கி அவளுக்கு உபதேசம் செய்கிறார் என்பது கதையின் கருத்து.

எம்.ஜி.ஆர் அவர்கள் சொன்னார் : பாதிரிகளாவ்தற்குள் வழிமுறைகள்,அவர்கள் வரவேண்டிய முறைகளை படித்து பின் அவர்களை சாதுக்கள் என எண்ணவில்லை;மாவீரர்களாக மதிக்கிறேன்.

அலெக்சாண்டர் ,நெப்போலியன் ,புருஷோத்தமன் ,அசோகன் ,ஆகியோர் உலகை பகையோடு, போராடி வென்றவர்கள் .

அனால் இவர்கள்  இரத்தத்தோடு கலந்த உணர்ச்சி பகையோடு போராடி வெல்பவர்கள். மனிதகுல வழிகாட்டிகளை  மாசுள்ளவர்களாக நடிக்கவும் வேண்டாம் ,நினைக்கவும் வேண்டாம் .

“பரமபிதா”  படமுயிற்சி   அத்துடன் நின்றது .

Deepavali Celebrations At MGR’s House “THAI VEEDU”

HAPPY DIWALI  GREETINGS TO ALL MGRPERAN BLOG READERS

Nostalgic memories... Deepavali was always an occasion we looked forward too in our grandfathers house in “Thai Veedu’. It was a huge family mansion where i spent my childhood in a joint family with all my cousins.All the family members first takes their  blessing from my grandfather Periyavar M.G.Chakrapani. My grandmother would wake us all up at 4 in the morning and we would rush and crowd at the store room where the crackers would be kept.Each of us would be given our share and we would run to the main gate.My father would keep a 1000 wala and wake up the whole household and the neighbourhood.We would then finish the crackers we have and ask my uncles for money to buy again. This would go on till we would all be dragged for an oil bath by our respective moms.

      The real flavour of Deepavali heightens with the special breakfast.My grandmother and Leelamma ( though a cook,who was always treated like a member of our household)would make pepping hot idlis and dosas with mutton curry, mutton fry and egg curry. We would all have at least two rounds of breakfast and run around the house as if we were all very busy. Running up and down the house to each of my cousins rooms made us hungry all over again and Leelamma would be eternally cooking on that day.There would be a stream of friends and relatives throughout the day and no one would leave without eating.
        The evening would be filled with lamps lit by all the women folk, while we children would start with another round of bursting crackers. It would go on till midnight as we used to drop dead on our beds.
Those days of joint family celebrations are gone and they remain only as memories...i mean nostalgic memories.Now we have all split into small nuclear families and celebrate Deepavali only as a ritual !
I can never forget Deepavali in my good old “Thai Veedu”home.

நாளை   இதய    தெய்வம்               நம் அவரோடிய பக்தர்கள்

The Temple was dedicated to our Beloved Leader, Makkal Thilagam, Ponmanachemmal Sri MGR by his Devotee the Founder  Trustee L.Kalaivanan, who has formed a Public charitable Trust in the name of Arulmigu MGR Aalaiyam Arakattalai, registered in the file of Sub Registrar and the registered number is 538 of 2010. (See how the number has formed, add 5, 3 and 8 MGR’s Lucky number 7). The corner stone was laid before 7.30 am, the temple measures 1800 sq.ft.

The function was attended by MGR Devotees, Coimbatore Engineer Duraisamy, Vellore MR.Raamamoorthy, Anupandi Arumgam Madurai Tamilnesan, Khaleel Basha of Thiruvannamalai,  Kanchi Selvam and Magesh, Bangalore Ravi, Subramani, Chennai - MGR Murthy, Pandian, Chandran, Elangovan, Vimalraj, Rajkumar, Saidapet Sekar, Kumar, Iyath, Babu, Manivannan, B.S.Raju one of the Trustee of this Charitable Trust and Editor of Olikarathu Urimaikural MGR Magazine , MGR Grandson MGCB Pradeep, Poet Kasi Muthumanickam, Yukesh Babu, Sathya, Venkat, Ithayakani Magazine Editor Mr.Vijayan, S.S.Perumal, Santha from Kalaiventhan MGR Bakthargal Trust and several MGR Fans Association.
